You do not need to fill every field. Start with the minimum that gives you clarity. You can always come back.

1. Name your film

Open Projects. Create one entry. Fill four fields:

• Project Name, the working title
• Logline, the premise in one sentence
• Current Goal, what the work is aimed at this week
• Next Critical Step, the one move for today

Everything else in the template connects to this entry.

2. Add two or three scenes

Open Scene Breakdown. For each scene, fill:

• Title (INT. LOCATION or a working name)
• Act (Act 1, Act 2A, Act 2B, or Act 3)
• Conflict (what happens, in one line)
• Scene Purpose (what it earns for the story)

You do not need all your scenes now. Two or three is enough to start writing.

3. Name your main character

Open Character Bible. Four fields:
